It is an injectable treatment using local anaesthetics on painful parts of the muscles that are experiencing muscle spasm. It is a safe technique, provided that the topographical anatomy is known, and in the majority of cases it provides significant relief from the very first session, due to the immediate resolution of the muscle spasm.
